Organizations
What more could your existing programs, people, and resources make possible?
Reference works with nonprofits and other organizations to expand established programs, improve outreach, encourage greater participation, and develop initiatives that support their goals.
Building on established programs and exploring additional possibilities within your organization's facilities, expertise, relationships, and the interests and abilities of the people involved.
Outreach & Communications: Effective communications help bring your organizations reach to additional audiences, increase awareness of their work, and encourage people to become involved. Strategies include communications planning, narrative development, targeted outreach, public information activities, and opportunities for direct interaction with the individuals and groups you may seek to reach.
Program Development & Participation: Expand the possibilities within your established programs through additional activities, educational experiences, hands on learning, leadership opportunities, and new forms of participation. Development considers how existing programs can be strengthened, where participants may contribute additional knowledge and abilities, and what adjustments would improve their experience or extend your program's reach. Recommendations account for staffing, participant interests, available resources, and the practical requirements of implementation.
Collaborative Initiatives: Collaborations with businesses, professional groups, schools, and other organizations can provide additional expertise, facilities, materials, and support for established or emerging programs. Collaborative concepts bring complementary contributions together around specific objectives, with consideration for the responsibilities, interests, and operating requirements of those involved.
Additional Opportunities: Organizational properties, underused facilities, established services, and other assets may support activities beyond their current purposes. Development strategies explore alternative uses, potential sources of income, expanded programming, and phased approaches to larger organizational objectives. Recommendations consider financial requirements, operating capacity, available personnel, and long term practicality.

Recommendations addressed additional uses for the properties, activities that encourage participation, and opportunities to generate income while building toward the organization's longer-term plans.
